Wells Fargo

Supporting Communities is at the Heart of Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo distinguishes itself with passion and commitment in three key areas.

First is Wells Fargo's outstanding group of talented, energized, caring team members. In Colorado, Wells Fargo has approximately 6,000 team members who work day in and day out to help customers succeed financially and stay close to the 65 communities it serves throughout Colorado.

Second is Wells Fargo's broad offering of financial products and services. Wells Fargo is a diversified financial services company providing virtually every financial product individuals, families and businesses need including banking, insurance, investments, mortgage and consumer finance.

Third is Wells Fargo's commitment to the communities in which it does business. Wells Fargo knows its success is tied directly to the economic vitality and prosperity of each community it serves. Community Banking - having local leaders make important decisions such as community support - is central to Wells Fargo's philosophy. Wells Fargo is deeply involved in Colorado communities through financial contributions and team member volunteerism.

To help communities stay strong and vibrant, Wells Fargo contributes to organizations that advance the arts and culture, civic duty, commitment to our environment, community development, education and human services. Wells Fargo is particularly passionate about financial education, affordable housing programs and small business lending.

In 2007 alone, Wells Fargo contributed more than $3.7 million to 1,000-plus non-profit organizations throughout the state. Colorado team members raised an additional $520,000 (an all-time record!) for charitable organizations through the company's Community Support Campaign.

Combining Wells Fargo's financial giving with nearly 25,000 volunteer hours contributed by Colorado team members provides a good sense of just how strongly Wells Fargo believes in serving communities throughout the state.
